About After The Storm - Meet Christine WillettFormer Killingworth resident Christine Willett was seven and a half
months pregnant with her second son when she received the news that she had breast cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, radiation, and a clinical trial, Christine decided to try integrative medicine as part of her treatment, and found it to help immensely with the side effects. Her goal at the time was to live long enough to be able to put her then three year-old on the school bus for his first day of kindergarten.
Christine founded After The Storm in 2009 to help other survivors after their cancer diagnoses. Proceeds go to integrative medicine programs that help cancer patients heal their minds, bodies and spirits. After The Storm is committed to helping the survivor continue on the path from
survival to embracing living again.
